TWIM

Nat Heidler

Nat Heidler is a lifelong consciousness explorer, and from an early age was always looking for answers to life, the universe and everything else. Having practiced various mediation paths including Dzogchen and Vipassana, but not seeing the results he wanted, he kept looking.

In early 2014, he discovered Dhamma Sukha on YouTube and took his first retreat that summer. That first retreat revealed to him that there was more to be found using TWIM and studying the original teachings of the Buddha.

That first meditation retreat in the summer of 2014 at Dhamma Sukha led to many 10-day retreats with Doug Kraft and Bhante Vimeralamsi in California and at Dhamma Sukha. Early retreat experiences created an intense interest in studying the Suttas and the original teachings of the Buddha.

During the day he works for a Silicon Valley software company as a cloud architect. At night he can be found supporting TWIM teachers and the community via learntwim.org.

He is passionate about giving others the opportunity he’s found in the Dhamma and has a particular desire to help beginning or new to TWIM meditators.

He invites people to “Come and See” – referring to the words of the Buddha urging people to come and see for themselves the truth of his teachings – to test them in the fires of their own experience. He believes that direct experience is the best teacher.
